Arms Outstretched Ministry Needs

Thank you for your interest in assisting Arms Outstretched Ministry, Inc.  The needs that we encounter throughout Northern Virginia and the surrounding metropolitan area are many and great.  There are families and individuals that are without the necessities of life such as food, clothing and shelter.  There are also those in need of simple friendship or spiritual direction such as our teen population, senior citizens, wounded warriors and soldiers overseas, and the imprisoned.

With your help, together we can make a difference in the lives of others by providing them food, clothing, shelter, financial support, spiritual direction,and simple friendship and love.

Your support of this ministry makes it possible to meet the needs of a variety people such as families that are down on their luck and become homeless, foster children without families, our respected military personnel,  to teens who needs menorship and direction. 

If you can help us with any of the these needs please email or call us.  If you do not have access to any of these needs, but can help through financial gifts, please prayfully consider giving a gift today.

  • Car donations to help needy families
  • Storage Facility/Warehouse
  • Office Space 
  • School Supplies (Foster Children/Teen programs, Adopt a Soldier & Family program)
  • New or good condition Bibles and Christian tracts that effectively share God's plan of salvation (all programs)
  • New or good condition Books, magazines, crossword puzzles (wounded soldiers)
  • Solid colors small gift bags (wounded soldiers) 
  • Nonperishable foods (Homeless)
  • New socks & shoes (Men's 8-13/Woman 6-10)
  • New men & women's under garments (sizes med, large, XL)
  • Hygiene items or pre-organized kits (New shampoo, soap, deodorant,disposable razors & shaving cream, toothpaste,toothbrushes, combs, lotion, feminine products)
  • New or slightly used clothes (men,women, boy & girl)
  • New or slightly used blankets
  • New or slightly used coats
  • New or slightly used gloves, warm hats, scarves 
  • New bottles of sunscreen
  • Deet Bug spray or similiar (Homeless)
  • Various gifts for Senior Citizens (email us for suggestions)
  • Various gifts for Teenagers (email us for suggestions)
  • Various gifts for Foster Children (email us for suggestions)

Arms Outstretched Ministry is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.  All donations and gifts are tax deductible.   
 
Arms Outstretched Ministry is an all volunteer orgainzation, there are no paid staff members.
